The Story

Every full moon, when the rest of the forest is fast asleep, a small fox named Marlowe slips out of her den, lights her tiny tin lantern, and rows her wooden canoe across the silver lake to the moonlit island where the singing willows grow. She is the only animal in the whole forest who has ever heard the moon's quiet hum. But tonight, after years of going alone, Marlowe has invited a friend along for the very first time. Together, by lantern light, they will discover that the bravest songs are the ones you don't have to hear by yourself.
